An unusual shaped tomato. The 7 - 8 cm tomatoes are very flat and ribbed. Fruit has a deep-purple / chocolate-brown color when mature. They have a very rich, sweet and tart flavor. Fantastic in salads for both its flavor and stunning color. This tomato resembles tomatoes pictured in 16th-century herbal diaries. Harvest: 85 days after repotting.
